英语传读后感篇1

jane eyre, one of the most famous works of charlotte bronte’s, is an inspiring story about a miserable girl who pursue freedom, independence and true love. the story of the independent minded jane and her love affair with mr. rochester opened up new dimensions for women both as writer and generations of feminists. jane eyre, the tough girl, really impresses me very much.

one of jane’s impressive and admiring personalities is her self-respect. she wasn’t beautiful, and the ordinary appearance didn’t make others feel good of her. and some others even thought that she was easy to look down on and to tease. but as jane had said: ‘do you think, because i am poor, obscure, plain, and little, i am soulless and heartless? you think wrong!’ this is the idea of self-respect in jane eyre’s mind. god hadn’t given her beauty and wealth, but instead, god gave her a kind mind and a thinking brain. her idea of self-respect impresses me so much and let me feel the power inside her body.

the other gorgeous personality i value very much is her selfless love. after leaving thornfield with a broken heart, jane experienced quite a lot. she refused the proposal of st. john, a handsome priest who helped her a lot when she was starving. later, jane inherited a wealth of fortune from her uncle which she shared with her three cousins. but when hearing that mr. rochester had lost his eyesight and made his body serious injured while saving his mad wife in a conflagration during which his wife died and all his property was destroyed, jane returned to thornfield immediately and devoted her love to mr. rochester. what a great decision for her to go back! if i were jane, i couldn’t promise to get married with mr. rochester who is in such a terrible situation. however, jane did with all her heart!

i like the novel very much, especially the character ‘jane eyre’ who is a great woman in my mind. jane makes me realize the importance of self-respect and understand what the true love is. in this sophisticated society, we may not avoid being contaminated, but we can remind ourselves of jane eyre and try to be an independent and strong-minded person who treasures self-esteem and true love.

the tragedy of hamlet, prince of denmark, or more simply hamlet, is a tragedy by william shakespeare, believed to have been written between 1599 and 1601. the play, set in denmark, recounts how prince hamlet exacts revenge on his uncle claudius, who has murdered hamlet's father, the king, and then taken the throne and married gertrude, hamlet's mother. the play vividly charts the course of real and feigned madness—from overwhelming grief to seething rage—and explores themes of treachery, revenge, in-ce-st, and moral corruption.

despite much literary detective work, the exact year of writing remains in dispute. three different early versions of the play have survived: these are known as the first quarto (q1), the second quarto (q2) and the first folio (f1). each has lines, and even scenes, that are missing from the others. shakespeare probably based hamlet on the legend of amleth, preserved by 13th-century chronicler saxo grammaticus in his gesta danorum and subsequently retold by 16th-century scholar franois de belleforest, and a supposedly lost elizabethan play known today as the ur-hamlet.

given the play's dramatic structure and depth of characterization, hamlet can be analyzed, interpreted and argued about from many perspectives. for example, scholars have debated for centuries about hamlet's hesitation in killing his uncle. some see it as a plot device to prolong the action, and others see it as the result of pressure exerted by the complex philosophical and ethical issues that surround cold-blooded murder, calculated revenge and thwarted desire. more recently, psychoanalytic critics have examined hamlet's unconscious desires, and feminist critics have re-evaluated and rehabilitated the often maligned characters of ophelia and gertrude.

hamlet is shakespeare's longest play and among the most powerful and influential tragedies in the english language. it provides a storyline capable of "seemingly endleretelling and adaptation by others". during shakespeare's lifetime, the play was one of his most popular works, and it still ranks high among his most-performed, topping, for example, the royal shakespeare company's list since 1879. it has inspired writers from goethe and dickens to joyce and murdoch and has been described as "the world's most filmed story after cinderella". the title role was almost certainly created for richard burbage, the leading tragedian of shakespeare's time. in the four hundred years since, it has been played by highly acclaimed actors, and sometimes actresses, of each successive age.

" hamlet " of shakespear is a classical representative work. this book certainly does not have the big difference in the superficial plot with the historical fable, spoke or the danish prince the story which revenged for the father, in which fills the rank smell of blood violence and dies.just like the dramatis personae horatio said: " you may hear to to rape massacre, the unusual repair behavior, the dark center decision, accidental slaughter, borrows the hand murder , as well as falls into suicide result." windingly elects the plot, tightly centers on the revenge to launch. hamlet wittenberg hurries back the home in a hurry from germany, is attends his father's funeral, enables him to accept, he not catches up with father's funeral, actually witnessed the mother and the uncle claudius' wedding ceremony, this had caused hamm the wright suspicion at the heart, added night above meets in the royal palace castle with father's ghost, the ghost sorrow sued, this pile atrocity was uncle hamlet the behavior, and wanted him to revenge for the father.to this, he started the difficult revenge course, launched the life and death contest with claudius. finally, sent out sword the revenge to claudius.

hamlet is a man with contradictory,he had many chances to kill claudius, but he hesitated, which reflects the religious thought poisons.

英语传读后感篇5

ialways wanted to read this famous booki wanted to read it when i was inschool, but i always missed each other and didn't see it. i finished readingtoday, but i was a little disappointed. i don't know why cervantes created suchan image of a "madman".

don quixote was a declining aristocrat. he was addicted to knights' novelsand became obsessed with them. he found a pair of armor and rode on a skinny oldhorse. he began his imaginary journey of supporting justice and wandering thejianghu. he is a pure and stubborn idealist, living in fantasy. in other words,he is a completely stubborn lunatic. he regarded windmills as giants, sheep asenemies, convicts as knights, and a common village woman as his princess.repeatedly hit the wall, often head broken blood but unswervingly, infatuated.it's his servant sangqiu, who is fat and timid and greedy for a small price, whois still a normal man with flesh and blood. he will take advantage of hismaster's craziness and paranoia, play a little cleverness, and seize theopportunity to increase some benefits for himself. he is a real living man. justlike this, two other living treasures, a pair of unimaginable masters andservants, staged a funny farce for us. one of the most amusing scenes is that inthe dark night, sangqiu is afraid to hold his master's thigh all the time anddare not give up. however, he is eager to describe courteously, which is reallyvivid and vivid.

the most touching ones in the book are some of don quixote's good friends.they never give up on old tang. they must try their best to cure his madness.they have used violent meansto put the old tang in a cage and escort him homewith arms; they have used the means of burning books and "pit" confucianismtoburn all the knights' novels in the old tang family and even seal the study;they have used the means of concealing the sky and the seato pretend to be aknight, to pretend to be a princess in distress and so on, all in order to pullthe old tang from fantasy to reality. they really mean to their friends, especially for such a "terminally ill" crazy friend. they didn't give up, andeven were wrongly wounded and beaten by old tang. life can have such a fewfriends, enough!

ijust don't know the background of the times. i don't know what theintention of this episode is that some sangqiu, who was governor of the islandfor several days, handled several cases cleanly and fairly, but was forced toresign at last.
