sense and sensibility was the first jane austen published. though she initially called it elinor and marianne, austen jettisoned both the title and the epistolary mode in which it was originally written, but kept the essential theme: the necessity of finding a workable middle ground between passion and reason. the story revolves around the dashwood sisters, elinor and marianne. whereas the former is a sensible, rational creature, her younger sister is wildly romantica characteristic that offers austen plenty of scope for both satire and compassion. commenting on edward ferrars, a potential suitor for elinors hand, marianne admits that while she "loves him tenderly," she finds him disappointing as a possible lover for her sister.
soon however, marianne meets a man who measures up to her ideal: mr. willoughby, a new neighbor. so swept away by passion is marianne that her behavior begins to border on the scandalous. then willoughby abandons her; meanwhile, elinors growing affection for edward suffers a check when he admits he is secretly engaged to a childhood sweetheart. how each of the sisters reacts to their romantic misfortunes, and the lessons they draw before coming finally to the requisite happy ending forms the heart of the novel. though mariannes disregard for social conventions and willingness to consider the world welllost for love may appeal to modern readers, it is elinor whom austen herself most evidently admired; a truly happy marriage, she shows us, exists only where sense and sensibility meet and mix in proper measure.

一、面向全体学生
?英语课程标准》明确指出，英语课程要面向全体学生，注重素质教育。课程特别强调要关注每个学生的情感，激发他们的学习兴趣，帮助他们建立自信。我们作为教师要树立为学生终身发展的思想，坚持以人本位，以生为本就是以学生为教学的主体，“一切为了每一位学生的发展”在教学中的具体体现，它意味着：
①关注每一位学生。每一位学生都是生动活泼的人、发展的人、有尊严的人，在教师的课堂教学理念中，包括每一位学生在内的全班所有的学生都是自己应该关注的对象，关注的实质是尊重、关心、牵挂，关注本身就是最好的教育。②关注学生的情绪生活和情感体验。英语教学过程应该成为学生一种愉悦的情绪生活和积极的情感体验。③关注学生的道德生活和人格养成。英语课堂不仅仅是传授语言知识的殿堂，更是人性养育的殿堂。英语课堂教学潜藏着丰富的道德因素，教师不仅要充分挖掘和展示教学中的各种道德因素，还要积极关注和引导学生在教学活动中的各种道德表现和道德发展，从而使教学过程成为学生一种高深的道德生活和丰富的人生体验。④关注学生创新能力和实践能力的提高。素质教育的重点是培养学生的创新能力和实践能力，而无论是培养创新能力还是实践能力，都必须同社会相互联系，同生活相联系，这样才能真正有效。
二、创设自主、合作、探究的学习方式
新《英语课程标准》特别强调学生要能用所学的英语做事情，在做事情的过程中发展语言能力、思维能力以及交流与合作的能力。语言学习要从语法讲解中和单词的死记硬背中解脱出来，要通过创设良好的语言环境和提供大量的语言实践的机会，使学生通过自己的体验、感知、实践、参与和交流，形成语感；在教师的引导下，通过观察、发现和归纳等方式，掌握语言的规律，形成有效的学习策略，通过交流与合作发展交流与合作的能力。
三、多样化的教学评价方式
新《英语课程标准》强调评价应有益于帮助学生认识自我、树立自信、有利于学生发展有效的学习策略，促进每个学生在已有水平上的发展。《英语课程标准》提出英语课程的评价体系要注重体现学生在评价中的主体地位，力求评价方式的多样化。应采用形成性评价与终结性评价相结合的方式，既关注学习过程，又关注学习结果。为了全面、公正地对学生进行评价，不仅评价的形式要多样化，还要保证评价主体的多元化，提倡学生、同伴、教师、家长等共同参与评价。建立“形成性与终结性相结合”的课程评价体系，既关注过程，又关注结果。
新课标对教师提出了新的要求，既有知识结构、教育方式等方面的更新，又有对教学目的和对学生评价方式的调整，其核心便是教育对“学生主体”的尊重，正是这些话语，让我又一次开始深思和探索，关注每位学生的身心健康发展，争取给每位学生的英语学习带来新鲜的.色彩。

?爱的教育》这本书中所倡导的是要用爱的感情来教育我们，生活中的母子之爱，父子之爱，朋友之爱，师生之爱，对我们来说都非常重要，《爱的教育》就是要把我们培养成一个性格完善的，有社会责任感的，爱国爱民的好公民，这也就像我们陶校长所说的那样：要学会做真人。
?爱的教育》是意大利著名的作家亚米契斯在一八八六年创作完成的，这本书是以一个三年级的小学生安利柯的口吻写的，讲述了他在一学年中的所见，所闻和所感，还有父母写给他的劝戒以及老师在课堂上的每月例话。书中生动地刻画了各种高贵品质：爱国，无私，友爱，英勇等等。这是一本很值得看的书，我建议大家有空也看看。
书中每一篇故事都很感人，我举个例子：少年侦探(每月例话)。故事的内容大概是这样的：在战争时期，有一个村子里的人害怕敌人进村，就一起逃走，只有一个小男孩，因为他是孤儿，所以他留了下来。这时，一支他们国家的军队过来了，让那个小男孩到高的地方看看有没有敌人的军队往这边来，如果有，在什么地方。那个小男孩很快就爬到了一棵最高的树上，并说出了敌人的位置，在这时，一颗子弹打到了树后面的农舍，士兵让小男孩下来，小男孩没有下来，过了一会儿，第二颗子弹与小男孩擦肩而过，士兵又让小男孩下来，但是小男孩还要继续观察，仍然没有下来，正当他聚精会神观察时，第三颗子弹打到了他，小男孩牺牲了
就是这么一个故事，那位小男孩为了帮助自己国家的军队而牺牲了自己，体现出小男孩不屈不挠，舍己为国的精神。
这本书已成为世界公认的最富有爱心和教育意义的读物。作者用孩子的口吻告诉我们：素质教育就是爱的教育，首先是对父母，老师，朋友的爱，这是我们做人的根本。

shakspere (wrong spelling) created hamlet--a man with wisdom and courage .in order to revenge on his uncle for killing his father, he pretented (spelling mistake) to be mad and suffered a series of misery. on the contrary, we can also say that hamlet is rude and selfish for he did not think twice before his revenge . if (capitalize "if" since it is the beginning word of the sentence.) a country has no king, how can a country keep alive (you need a question mark here since it is a question.) so, every thing has two sides, the bright side and adumbral side. every time we make a decision we have to think twice.
